SITUATION:

In 2012, the St. Johns River Ferry was in jeopardy of losing its funding and community support to maintain operations.

OBJECTIVE:

Increase awareness in the community for the Ferry –  its relevance, historical meaning, and impact on the community.

TKG RESPONSIBILITIES:

Research, strategy, PR, media outreach, community outreach, messaging and campaign development, launch, event planning and execution.

RESULTS:

A “Keep the Ferry” awareness campaign and Ferry Fest event were developed and launched with great success, securing an additional minimum of one year of service in the community.
